Feats of the Week 21
PONDERED
USA has been using deterrents to prevent undocumented immigrants from entering our country. Every one of those deterrents has failed. The proof that this doesn’t work can be seen in our present and past. People keep coming here.
Trump’s plan was to be so unbearably cruel that people wouldn’t want to come here. He went so far as to steal children away from their families. It didn’t work.
Imagine that we have a hole in a wall. Water is pouring in through the hole. We patched the hole, but water soaked right through it. We put buckets out to catch the water. Then we dump the water outside, but it just back through the hole. We have thrown vast sums of money at the problem. Yet, it is still there.
What if we used that money and creative energy to let the water come in? What if we create easy to navigate pipes that direct the water in a useful way? What if we actually made our home better by letting this flow of water improve society?
Bah! That would never work. If we help people, then how do we get to be cruel? If we help people, how do we make rich Americans richer? If we help people become legal immigrants, who will we blame for our problems?

SORCERIES
- I have 11 songs written for my fantasy synth album so far. They are pretty short, so I need some more. I love the Sonicware Liven Mega Synthesis. It lets me write an entire song in about an hour. It is a fabulous tool and instrument.
