Finder Cloudburst Chapter 6, Part 1
I woke some time later,
though how long it had been,
I could not fathom.
My head was hurt.
I think the Keygram worked.
My head was bleeding, but
nothing was broken.
I staunched the blood.
I examined the hole
in which I found myself.
Perhaps my brain broke.
This can’t be real.
This was not just a hole.
It was once a small room.
I am sure of it.
There was a door.
Why was a house buried?
Who would do such a thing?
My interest was piqued.
I must explore.
I took nought but one step
before I dizzily
stumbled and fell down.
I vomited.
My wound was more severe
than I before realized.
I must return home
to be treated.
The mysterious door
will have to wait for me.
I will return and
explore this find.
With much difficulty
I climbed out of the hole,
Hindered by dizzy
spells that slowed me.
I trundled to Fleagrass
slower than I wanted.
I took many rests
throughout the night.
