Souls
Introduction to Weaverism 9
You must protect your soul
As one guards their treasure.
It is the infinite
You that lives on and on.
For you will surely die
And to the After World
You will go for judgment.
Our lives are examined
By Weaver and Spinner.
If they find your life thread
To be unsnarled and true
Then you shall be woven
Into the tapestry
Of heaven, freed of the
Burden of rebirth to
The Living World again.
There is reward waiting
For all in After World.
‘Tis your most ideal life
Where all things are perfect.
But woe to them whose thread
Is tangled and knotted.
You have not lived rightly
Or with true piety.
The gods are both displeased.
Your soul will be reborn
In a newborn baby
To again try to find
The path to your earned rest.
