The Book of Temples Chapter 2
Beneath the tower,
the chosen people
belonging to Lord of Feasts,
began their new lives.
They planted their seeds
and tended to their livestock.
Their Child God required
devoted service
they must work in the temple.
Their work was worship,
daily rituals,
to please the great Lord of Feasts.
They gave to their god
and sated his needs
so he would provide for them.
The food and shelter
though they toiled for both
persisted at his pleasure.
Their oaths must be met,
the bargain thus kept,
perform their sacred duties.
