The Book of Temples Chapter 33
With shelters in place,
the People’s focus
was shifted to the temple.
But Hand and Knife took
some People aside
and away from the building.
She gave instruction
in how to gather
fish and other sea creatures.
And others she sent
back to the mainland
to continue with their work.
Child God divided
her People into
four distinct groups of workers.
The island and shore
each had these four groups
working for the good of all.
There were gatherers
that found resources
needed by everyone else.
Fishers lived on both
island and mainland
pulling food from the ocean.
Builders constructed
the island temple
and houses on the mainland.
The island did not
have fertile soil for
sowing seeds and growing crops.
So all farmers lived
a ways from the sea
where they grew successfully.
Hand and Knife’s People
thrived and expanded
further inland from the sea.
