of art to nourish their souls.
She taught them to write
and paper was born
to collect their deeds and tales.
She taught them to paint
on stone, walls and more.
Their past and present were seen.
She taught them to sculpt,
so figures were made
of her likeness and theirs too.
She taught them music,
chants and instruments
majestic sounds of their lives.
She taught them to craft
trinkets and jewelry
objects of beauty and worth.
