River, Beetle and Shrub
agreed to wander with Torn
seeking hidden foes
restoring calm and peace.
But River Moonskull said,
“Our task is urgent.
Lives must be saved.
I cannot look forward
until my husband is found.
I fear that Torn’s request
must be set aside for now.
Go, if you will, my friends.
I am not ready.”
