The Machinery of the World Ensures that the Natural Order of Things operates correctly. New machines can be built by Any god that chooses to do so.
The Exiled God devised Vertices That he used to pin the Realm of Terrors to the Living World. This machine allowed the Realm of Terrors To bleed into the Living World.
He only needed someone to open a door To Rend the Confines To complete the connection And allow him to pass through.
The solution to this Unnatural Order of Things Is to unpin the Vertices, reseal the Confines and Defeat all Terrors left behind.
Enter the Vertex and find a sphere. This sphere is the pin holding together the Realms. Lift the sphere, say “marcation” and shatter the sphere. The door will begin to close. Pass through while you may.
While in the Vertex, you are more In the Realm of Terrors, than the Living World, Though you are still in both, Just more so one than the other.
You must heal the rent in the Confines. The Learned Giant existed for this purpose. He still does. Go to his heart and say Mend. Utilize the lever and heal the rent.
The first Vertex was already closed but not unpinned. It lay in catacombs delved too deep. Where the unfated did give aid.
The second Vertex is within the stump of a felled tree. The stump is brown. The stump is not in the frozen north, but in the warmer south where things can grow.
The temple where the Vertex sits in the center of the stump. But it is locked by a cursed object held by the brown stump.
The third Vertex is in the northern ocean far beyond the lands where you walk. There is a lone island, but you can not sail there. The ocean must be trod.
The island can be found due north of the fierce mouth. Tread that water and do not veer off-course. North is the only path.
The fourth Vertex is within the largest mountain. There is a library guarding the entrance. When these words are present in the library, the temple will be revealed.
